Privacy Policy
This policy explains what OutSlide collects, why, and what you can do about it. We aim to collect only what's necessary to run the service.
What we collect
- Telegram identity: your numeric Telegram user ID, username, first/last name, language code — provided by Telegram WebApp initData when you open OutSlide inside the Telegram client.
- Deck inputs and outputs: the topic you submit, the outline you commit to, the slide images we render, and the speaker notes we generate. Stored to let you reopen and edit your decks.
- Usage telemetry: anonymous events such as page views, button taps, and generation success/failure, used to debug and improve the service. We do not record keystrokes or screen content.
- Billing: if you upgrade to Pro, Stripe collects your card and billing details directly. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us only the subscription status, the last four digits, and the country of the card.
What we don't collect
- We don't access your Telegram chats, contacts, photos, or files.
- We don't sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
- We don't use your decks to train third-party AI models.
Third-party processors
OutSlide uses a small number of vetted subprocessors to deliver the service:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Runware — slide-image generation (we send the prompt; Runware returns the rendered image).
- OpenRouter — text generation (outline, body, speaker notes).
- Telegram — bot delivery channel for completed deck files.
- Standard cloud infrastructure for hosting, backups, and email delivery.
How long we keep your data
- Decks are retained while your account is active.
- Telemetry events are retained for 12 months in raw form, then aggregated.
- Billing records (Stripe-side) are retained per Stripe's policy and applicable tax law (typically 7 years).
- You can request full deletion by emailing support@outslide.ai — we will purge your decks and account within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact support@outslide.ai from the email tied to your account and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
OutSlide is not directed at children under 16. Don't use it under that age.
Security
We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest for backups, and least-privilege access for the small team that operates the service. No service is perfectly secure, but we take care of yours like it's our own.
International transfers
Data may be processed in the EU, the UK, the US, and other jurisdictions where our subprocessors operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses where required.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the service materially changes; we will notify you at least 14 days before any change that affects how we use your data.
